  • Is VAT included in the price of my purchase?

VAT is included for all India orders. All prices appearing on the website are in Indian Rupees and are inclusive of VAT.

  • What are Kronokare’s shipping rates?

For our India customers, Rs. 95.00 applies to all orders to be delivered to an address within the India. For orders totalling or exceeding Rs 1,500.00, to be delivered to a India address, we will waive postage fees. Please allow up to five days for the delivery of your purchase.

Rs. 195.00 applies to all orders paid with Cash on Delivery.

  • Will I need to sign for the delivery of my product?

You will need to sign for deliveries.

  • How do I place an order?

When you have found your product, select the quantity of desired products and click on "Add to Cart”. Among the Kronokare’s products you can purchase online a product may exceptionally be sold out. In this event, when you click on "Add to Cart", a window appears to inform you that the product you wish to order is temporarily sold out. Our stocks are however frequently updated and you can contact our customer service department for information of when the product will be back in stock. Alternatively all products are available in kronokare counter which can be located in the store locator.

  • How do I know the status of my order?

When your order and payment are validated, kronokare sends an initial e-mail to confirm your order. Then, once your order has been prepared and despatched, you will also receive an order despatch confirmation by e-mail. In this second e-mail, you will find a parcel number. By clicking on the link to www.kronokare.com in this e-mail, and entering the parcel number in the place indicated on the website, you will be able to track your parcel.

  • Can I change my order after it has been validated?

If you realise that you have made a mistake when inputting the order you have just validated on the website, contact kronokare customer services as soon as possible by sending an email to info@kronokare.com. If your request for correction is sent to customer services before your order is processed, it can be changed.

  • Can I cancel my order after it has been placed?

You cannot cancel your order if kronokare customer services inform you that it has already been processed. However, you can return the products ordered within 7 working days beginning with the day after the day of receipt of your order. Before validating your payment, you can change or cancel your order on the page "Shopping basket" during the validation phase of your order.

  • How do I know my order has been taken into account?

2. Skin Care Concerns

  • What are the effects of topically applied vitamins on my skin? Can I send an order to another country?

While providing anti-oxidant protection, some vitamins can also assist in hydrating and softening the skin.

  • Will the plant extracts of kronokare’s products make my skin oily?

We use in our products essential oils and vegetable oil: freeze-dried extracts, steam and CO2 extracted oils and crushed or total extracted oils. All of the oils obtained by these methods are light and greaseless.

  • Will kronokare products aggravate sensitive skin?

Skin sensitivities can be unpredictable. If you have experienced a reaction, we recommend you stop using all products for a full week. This will give your skin the chance to recover from whatever was aggravating it.You may wish to test the kronokare products you have on separate patches of skin away from your face. Allow twenty-four hours to assess your skin's response. If the test result does not have an adverse reaction, you can apply freely. If your skin reacts or symptoms persist despite not using any products, we suggest you consult with a dermatologist.

  • Are kronokare products safe to use during pregnancy?

We understand that many women seek alternatives to botanically rich products during pregnancy; however, to our knowledge there is no risk associated with using any Kronokare formulation in the manner we prescribe during pregnancy.

Kronokare is committed to providing accurate information, however, this information is not intended to replace advice from your qualified medical practitioner. We recommend that you speak with your obstetrician or dermatologist should you have any concerns regarding your particular circumstances.

  • Are kronokare products Sulphate free?


Kronokare does not use any Sulphates in any of its formulation. 

As with all ingredients utilised in Kronokare formulations, we have extensively researched the safety, stability and efficacy prior to including them in our products. This is standard Kronokare procedure for every ingredient being considered for use in one of our formulations. 

All kronokare cleansing products use sulphate free surfactants which comply with the 'ultimate biodegradability' status of the EU Detergents Directive and therefore are compatible with septic tank waste systems. Our products are also phosphate-free and are therefore suitable for use in water-recycling systems.

No Kronokare product contains parabens.

  • Do kronokare products have an expiry date?

The label on your Kronokare product displays an icon next to the batch number. This icon informs the date your product will be at its best.

  • What if I have an adverse reaction to an kronokare product?

All cosmetic ingredients have the potential to irritate sensitive skin regardless of the amount present in an individual product or the method in which it is used.

Irritations can sometimes occur in the regular course of our daily lives, even where we have used and enjoyed a product successfully for many years. The trigger for a reaction can be an unexpected one and may not necessarily repeat itself in the same way. We ask that you consider any changes to your regular routine that may have triggered the reaction (dietary, contact with possible allergens such as household cleaning liquids etc.).

Where one experiences an adverse reaction to any cosmetic preparation, the best course of action is to discontinue use and if necessary, consult your medical practitioner to establish whether you have experienced an irritation or an allergy. In the unlikely event that you experience an adverse reaction to an Kronokare product, please discontinue use and return it to the place of purchase. Do not hesitate to contact us with the details of your reaction.

  • Are kronokare products Silicone free?

Silicones have bad reputation, which is justified. Sicicones are substances that are being very widely used in cosmetics. They make the formula much softer, contributing to a better spread.

On the dark side, silicones have an occlusive effect, they tend to smoother the skin and the hair because they make an artificial layer and clog them. As a result, the skin cannot “breathe” and the hair cannot receive other essential nutriments. In few words they give an instant satisfaction but on the run they definitely prevent the skin and hair from receiving nutrient and function normally.

Every Kronokare product above 60 ml/gm is labelled with a detailed ingredient list. If you have any specific queries pertaining to a particular product, please consult the product’s individual page (you can browse products by concern, category or range).

  • How should I store my kronokare products?

We recommend you keep your products in a cool place away from direct light, or better yet, in the refrigerator. This advice applies for all kronokare products, regardless of whether they are contained in glass, plastic or aluminium or paper.
The label on your kronokare product displays an icon, next to the batch number, that tells you how many months your product will be at its best.
It is best to use clean hands when dipping into jars, or to use a teaspoon or small spatula to scoop out product for use.

  • Do kronokare products contain parabens?


Kronokare products do not contain parabens.

All ingredients used in kronokare products have been extensively researched, tested and assessed for their safety, stability, efficacy and irritation potential. This is standard procedure for every ingredient under consideration for use by kronokare, regardless of type. Any ingredient derived from a petrochemical source is significantly chemically modified from its petrochemical origin, and utilised only in minute quantities as required for their end properties. We avoid the use of ingredients such as petrolatum derived directly from crude oil.

  • Why kronokare products housed in amber glass and PET containers?

Our products are packaged in pharmaceutical-grade amber glass or PET, as our formulations contain a high concentration of active botanical extracts, the stability of which cannot be guaranteed if they are housed in amber bottles.

  • Are kronokare products tested on animals?

  • We are often asked if Kronokare products are organic or natural.

These are words we use with great caution, along with ‘pure’, as they often breed assumptions about organisational practices. As many of our formulations contain laboratory generated ingredients, it would be cynical and deceitful to attach these words to our products: we have never done so.

At Kronokare we do not claim going for full natural ingredients which would lead to very important allergies. At Kronokare we claim using natural ingredients as much as we can without exposing our clients to allergies and we claim to use “non invasive chemical”, therefore the absence of Sulphate, Silicones, Mineral Oil or Parabens.

Basically we use natural ingredients as active ingredients and use smooth chemical to ensure that your hair and skin will not be harmed or get into allergic reactions. When possible we even go for 100% natural such as our hair oil or massage oil but when the 100% natural defit the purpose we safely use gentle chemicals.

The Kronokare product range is not exclusively organic or natural; rather, our products are formulated using a combination of high-quality botanical and synthetic ingredients. It is important to note, however, that none of our products contains Sulphate, Mineral Oil, Paraben or Silicone.

While many of our formulas contain ingredients sourced from plants grown organically, they also commonly contain ingredients grown by farmers using non-organic techniques. Our primary objective is to ensure kronokare products are made from premium quality ingredients.

We recognise the benefits that organic and biodynamic farming have for the land and for our health, but we are practical about how realistic it would be for us to use only organic ingredients. Sometimes they are not available, sometimes there is not enough of a particular ingredient, sometimes the air miles required to import it would generate an environmental concern of its own.

Last a only natural or organic product could lead important allergic reactions!
We caution people to be wary of any company that labels itself organic without explaining exactly what they mean: companies can label their goods organic if they contain only a small percentage of organic ingredients.

  • What is aromatherapy?

Aromatherapy is a healing art with roots lying in antiquity. It traces back more than 6000 years, since ancient Egyptians, Greeks, Persians, Romans and probably Chinese used to burn scented flowers and herbs and enjoy aromatic bath, massage and skin care for curative and cosmetic purposes.

Aromatherapy is the practice of using volatile plant oils, including essential oils, for psychological and physical well-being.
